We are so excited to announce and celebrate the release of Dr. Washington’s new book, Up from these Ashes!

Her book is the intimate account of one woman’s incredible journey of survival against insurmountable odds to overcome Childhood Trauma.

Despite a childhood of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, abandonment, starvation, and unrelenting poverty, God’s love and mercy triumphed.

Through personal stories of tragedy and triumph, revelations from God, and her own research, Dr. Washington shares how the effects of trauma in childhood cause adult irrational behaviors, mental illness, debilitating fears, suffocating insecurities, unspeakable secrets, tormenting nightmares, and deep-seated emotional and psychological pain.

But there is hope! The unwavering thread of God’s grace throughout her life wove a tapestry of redemption and healing which led Dr. Washington to establish Tower of Hope Ministries to help others heal from the effects of Childhood Trauma.
